Yep its true, the Hp went down from 108 in 05 to 103 in 06.5

the thing that changed as far as the engine for the 06 and 06.5 is a carbon filter in the air cleaner box.
thats why there is no carb legal intake for the 06
mine was built in 11/06

Mine is a 2006.5 and one of the other differences is always explaining the .5 part of your ride. LOL
The dealership said it was built to be a 2007, but it would not pass the emissions for 07 so Toyota had to be creative (we all know they are) and labeled them 2006.5 - which you will still have to look for parts under 2006 and on some sites 2007.
