1st gen surpentine belt route

alot of my older cars have had a diagram on the front clip of the surpentine belt route.
ive noticed that the xB (for some reason) does not.
so here is a diagrame for you to fallow when chaging your surpentine belt.

A = alternater
I = ideler
AC = A/c
C = crank
PS = power stearing
Purple X = ajustment for loosening and tightening of the surpentine belt

the PS belt is a V belt that rides the crank behind the surpentine belt, the surpentine belt needs to be removed befor you try and remove the PS belt.
im not sure about the ajustment for the PS belt.

I like your pic better, it's friendlier, but just in case, here's the repair manual page on it from my Scion Docs site...

I like the technical illustration, you must have had years of drafting to pull that off. LOL

In case you guys haven't had to do this yet, the bolt under the altenator is very difficult to see and you'll have to feel your way around when loosening.

Yes, not to mention, that bolt is a MOTHER to get out if you end up taking out the alternator to remove the water pump.
