stock air filters run about 6 bucks or so. a K&N will run 30+. plus you need to buy a charge kit (aka oil for the filter).

humm....would it run much better if I did all of that or does it not make that big of a difference either way? I just want to make sure I buy something that will work good ya know? lol

I don't mean to be a pain in the booty...but does anyone have a picture of the before and after? Just so I have an idea of what to take off haha. I don't know anything about it so I want to make sure I take off the right thing

just keep unscrewing and unscrewing until you hit metal. lol It's really not that hard as long as the pieces fit. That was the hardest part for me was adjusting and readjusting so the fork could fit around my battery tie down.

Honestly for our engines i would just get a regular paper filter. the difference a K&N would make would be virtually unnoticable. they are warranteed up to 1 million miles though as long as you take proper care of them IE: clean them as reccommended and recharge (oil) them properly.
