does this site do any advertisement? if you want this site to get really big then you might want to advertise. just wondering.

Where do you recommend we advertise little green one?

well to start maybe you could work out a deal with oznium.com. they advertise here, maybe you could work out a deal with them. i think that might be a good start. and all of the sites that sell xb aftermarket parts would be great. and i know that money is limited because this site isnt giant yet and i know it will be soon.

Advertisement cost money last time I check... There is the barter option also:
"Hey I'll give you space on my site if you give me space on your site"
Networking is also key, but ideally I think people need to hear about xbsite from other xB owners. I was told about this place from Rob (IronLion) on clubxb, and personally I like that he told me, I like the lay out much more here than there. But I am just one person. I think people should buy xbsite stickers run them on their cars so others can see and then get learned that this is the place to be. But also it needs a little love from the present members to keep the threads going and post, post, post. But again I am just one person, give some ideas, and worthless advice (Marketing Major, so maybe not 100% worthless).

Topher, I agree with you 100%. I've spent enough money on Google to get this site advertised and started. I believe it is up to the members to make this site the way it can be. The leaders of this board are making sure we are getting new information out there to our members and guests to help them out. Information is king. With time, our search results can only grow and present its searcher with the best possible answers anywhere.

I think we're all doing pretty good. It just opened, and we have a good amount of members, active posters with great write ups and other information. As time goes by, more and more people will join and we'll be famous haha.

It's a good thing to bring up, as most people don't understand how advertising on the net works.

Anytime on the help, some people just don't understand that everything takes money... Especially getting something like a web forum. I am working on a clothing line which is the hardest thing, I think only 2nd to a resturant. But just keep getting more word of mouth going and it will grow, time is on your side!
