Did my plugs yesterday along with a header. Plugs made a serious difference in the idle alone. Plugs were definitely worn @ 28K.

I honestly don't recommend wasting your time with tire rotation on these cars. If you are going to do it, do it yourself. Please don't pay someone $10 to rotate the tires.

RE: almost at 30k what to do ?

it wouldnt be a waste of time rotating tires. No matter what car you drive, the tires are going to wear differently from the front to the rear. All tires of all cars need to be rotated to provide equal wear and tear. And most people do not have the luxury of a house, garage, or driveway to rotate their own tires, which leaves them with no choice but to pay someone the $10-20 to rotate their tires. but for those who do, like phocis said, please do not pay someone else to do it.

The xB is sooo light that it's almost like rotating tires on a Ford Fiesta. Yes, there is more weight in the front, but that's why you check your tire pressure regularly. Unless you get tire slippage, then there honestly is no need to rotate those tires. Now if we all drove F250's and pulled trailers 3 times a week, then YES rotate the tires.

but just becuase the xB's weight almost nothing, doesnt mean the front wheels dont react differently than the rear wheels. In the end youll notice that your front wheels will have a lot less tread, while the rear wheels will look almost new.

I pay someone to rotate my tires, because I have them balanced at the same time.

I used to shuck tires for 3 years and I have to say that the stock tires I'm on have worn pretty dern even. I've been highly impressed with the lack of shacking from the balance of the tires. I'm sure the balance is off, but I feel no vibrations at all. And since I can't stand Goodyear tires with a passion, then I can't wait to get rid of them and get some quality tires on the box.
