i put my new GPS in on saturday and got everything set up.
its not new, just new to me.
it was one my brother had been using for work, but he lives in SW florida and the roads were being built faster then the updates were coming availabe.
ive seen 1 new road in 3 year in my area so im not to concerned about the updates.

that was the only thing i let the stealership do, plus it was financed with the car so.
i checked a few local shops to see what they wanted and it was acually more then the dealer.
good place for the gps. i like it there. the only thing i would change is to hide the wire behind the a pillar. that way it wont be in the way.

well its not in the way and i think the power wire may be a bit thick and would hold the a piller cover out and keep it from sitting all the way down.
ive still got it pluged in tom the sig lighter for now.
im working on getting a different power cord and just hard wire it, hopfully it will not be as thick and i would be able to do like yopu said and tuck it all behind the piller.
Looks good. I'd just get a cable from Radioshack and wire it in that way. But I've got you beat, my GPS screen is 15.4"
