Avoid the pieces of crap that Godspeed sells on eBay, they are built poorly and he sells as-is. I bought a set and had to re-cut the threads just to be able to assemble them. The studs on the struts were crooked. When I mounted them they were so strong they bowed my hood up in the middle. After I opened and closed the hood a couple of times I noticed it bending my hood when I tried to close my hood, I had to remove one of them to be able to close my hood. I only use one of them now to hold my hood up until I get a set of Teins hood dampers.

I've got mine from Redline. I have the Elite model. Good stuff. Sorry to hear you had such bad problems!!

The Teins I put on the guys xB fit and worked great.
Yea, that's pretty pathetic how it snapped like that.
I got the redlines for both boxes. Easy install and work great. Although I opted for sheet metal screws instead of pop rivets

No thanks. I'll use the free stick to prop my hood up, thank you very much.

what is a hood damper?
They are used to lift the hood up and hold it up. (exactly like whats used to lift your hatch, I would imagine)
