So I was driving home in a really bad storm last night and as I was speeding up to merge onto the highway and I guess I hit a large puddle. Well my car started to loose control and the TRC came on and it beeped. It has come on before and it didnt beep but this time it did. I was just wondering if it has happend to anybody else? Or if it was normal?
P.S. I have a RS 3.0
Mines never actually beeped at me but I hear others say it has them.

oh yeah the beep, under page 31 of the Toyota service manual; and I quote; "during traction slippage, the vehicle is designed to warn the driver by a loud beeping noise referred to as the mission impossible tone causing the vehicle to self destruct in 3 days 3 hours 3 minutes and 3 seconds from time of beep." <---thats from the service manual in Japan translated to English so it has to be true.......lol j/k

Yea, no worries, I hear that beep all the time. When I'm going 60 down a dirt road and throw it sideways a little for fun. No need to worry.
Now that beep is also to alert you that the car is automatically going to brake for you.. yes it will try and correct you if your out of control...
Yeah, Kyle, I've had it beep at me before, I was sitting at a light in the rain (just started) and give a bit too much gas and got some wheelspin and it beeped a couple of times while the "drifter" light came on. Nothing to worry about.
mine has beeped at me befor, but i was drifing accross an iced over parking lot.
there are 2 systems at play here, the traction controle and the stability controle.
im not sure witch one beeped at me

Yeah when I did a complete 180 and slammed into the center guardrail on the freeway after hitting a puddle mine sis the exact same thing. TRC went off and it started beeping at me, luckily my 501's stick out farther than my fenders so they took the beating instead of the box.
