I have an 06.5 xB and looking for a radiator shroud that covers the gap between your fake grill and where the hood latch is at. I have seen them on cars but don't know what they are called to google them.

Can anybody help me?
I found another place, but it is cheaper at scionpro. But i am trying something from the place I found. They online site had a mistake and an item came up free when you added it to the cart and the shipping came up free cause the site had free shipping on items over $250. So I want to see if they actually send me the item or not, lol. Doubt it, but you never know.
I would just make one out of fiberglass
^ We all know you would Wink

I have never worked with fiberglass so all I would do is end up itching.
im making one out of aluminum.
ive got a full sheet 4' x 8' of alumiinum, ive been meaning to make a few things.

The only limit on fiberglass is your imagination, which I'm sorry to say mine isn't as good as a lot of others.
Fiberglass is one of the easiest things to work with. If you love the smell of the styrene in the resin like I do, then all the better...LOL. I do have to shove a towel under the garage door cuz my wife hates the smell in the house.
If you purchase your stuff w/ the right vendor, it's relatively inexpensive and you really get a lot for your money

I looked at 40 or so pages of ebay xb stuff and struck out. I am trying to get this shipped, painted and installed for less than $100.

Johnboy what is it you are looking at?
It is the hood panel. Mirrored finish. I found a site that messed up and when you order it, it comes up free so I figured I would order one and see what happens, lmao

Here is my order e-mail

1 SCHP100 Stainless Hood Panel $0.00 $0.00
Sub Total: $0.00
Shipping Type: UPS Shipping: $0.00
There will be a 7% sales if shipped to Florida: $0.00
Total: $0.00
did they ship it?
give us the link
American car craft is the site I think he's talking about, but that is the hood panel not the cooling plate (radiator cover) piece your talking about.
Honestly I'd just buy from Scionpro or make one. It seems Scionpro uses ACC fabrications but they sell them cheaper for some reason.

ACC
here are the links johnboy is talking about, both have same part#
free one - http://www.americancarcraft.com/parts_de...Scion%20xb

not free, lol - http://www.americancarcraft.com/parts_de...CHP100.gif

Now the piece your looking for is here, but no pic and expensive
http://www.americancarcraft.com/parts_de...XB&pixbig=

Or here is the full 3-piece one that covers the grille and HL's, still too expensive

SCIONPRO

And finally the one that is the cheapest and probably the best if your gonna buy instead of make is the Scionpro one.

and the 3-piece

ive seen the americancarcraft web page befor, crap there stuff is big $
when it comes to aluminum i like to make my own stuff.
Any update on the free glitch? Did they ship it?
I don't know. i have had no contact and no info on what is going on. I mailed them too and have got no reply
