what about a Gallery so we can post the pics individually or by group? ;i think that will be nice in the site.

To answer some of your suggestions, we do have a gallery section where people are allowed to post up threads with pics/videos, are you guys talking about a different type of gallery?
Also about the newest post/thread count, I'm assuming you guys are talking about the top of the home page. Well if you look under the "user cp" link in the bar at the top you will see two links - one is "View new posts" and the other is "view todays posts". If you click those you will see all of the newest and/or todays posts/threads. Let me know if that is what you guys were looking for or not.
As far as the smilies go, David should be able to add some more to the list. (and for those who don't know if you go into preview your post before you post it you can click on the link at the bottom of the smilies box that says "get more" and you should see alot more.)
I'm happy with the site at the moment. Its coming a long great. Smileys are also amazing....but I do see we have more than a while ago. Another thought...maybe you can also add different layouts to the site for our own use. I have seen on other forums you can change the layout with different colors and the way things are labeled. Just a thought.

The ability to attach pics to one's own profile so that others can go in for a quick look at what "somebody" has would be very nice.
Possibly allowing a little time - like maybe until a reply post is made, or if that's not possible, at least 5 minutes - so we could go back and correct those typos that are impossible to see until after [Post Reply] is hit without getting the "This post was last modified: Today XX:XX PM by ____________." line added.
(Is there a way for you to flag posts/topics of significant technical value. Not those that are specifically put in as tech articles, but those that just turn out that way? If not, it would be nice to have. If not offered by the software, possibly moving such into the tech area...)

Keep the suggestions coming. This new software will allow us to do much more than before. And for one, I WILL be changing the layout. How drastic is everyone's call. I can't give any hints now, but the way that I have it envisioned will be SOOOOOO different from a regular xB forum, that you will enjoy how different and EASY it is to find what your looking for.
I'm excited about the upcoming changes and I am wanting as much input as possible from you guys. Anything that would make it easier for you to use this site, or any complaints, now is your chance to change things. So... Voice that 2 cents.

* Even my laptop has it's own backup HD that incrementally backs up once an hour - and that's aside from the RAID stack that keeps my apartment LAN happy/
