Dizamn, now thats a setup. I came extremely close to putting in a custom carputer w/ Lilliput screen but then I'd never leave the box and would probably even try posting on here while driving, lol. Excellent setup you've put together, seems like you've done this before or at least you make it look so easy w/ the pics. Love the paint job too.
Very nice setup and welcome. I will be installing a PC in my car by the end of the year. I currently have a laptop mounted on my on custom stand. I was thinking about going mac mini and just hiding the mug, then mounting a detachable 15" lcd screen to the dash. I'm all for the sexiness of installs, but I LOVE how you can have something installed and people NOT know about it. That just gets me every time Smile
looks like alot of work.
man i just can't get over the purple, its bangin!
Brian is an electrical engineer and he's OCD...his shit is always perfection. I'm really diggin' the switchs on the dash.
I WANNANOTHER INSTALL DAY BEFORE I GRADUATE AND MOVE AWAY DAMMIT! lol

More updates.....BIG THANKS to Patrick(PEEJ) for helping me out with his carpentry skills!!!

Carpet matches PERFECT!!!

I cut the bottom of the touchscreen housing off to remote mount the buttons

Early stages of molding in the screen, and so far coming out REALLY GOOD

As you can see in the pictures cut the bottom off the screen that houses the buttons, then cut a notch in piece on the bezel to mount the buttons roughly perpendicular to the screen!
dude, you are way more ballsy that me, i would never cut up a perfectly good piece of equipment. in anycase im so stoked to see the final project!
