I personally don't see any issues with melting. But with cheap projectors, you get what you pay for.

I'll be honest. I haven't heard one good thing about those lights for the 1st gen xb's so I don't know how well they will be for the 2nd gen's. Its worth a shot if they are cheap enough...but thats just me.

Those guys dicked me on a short shifter and wouldn't warranty it...I won't buy crap from them.

At $300 with shipping, no thanks. That's what I call nothing short of a rip-off. $150, maybe... but $300? Fuggetaboutit!
