Found a old 59 impala that was toaste and loved the dash gauge pods, took it out and built a fiberglass version, the original is cast iron and heavy. Plus i dont have the heart to cut on it. Im making it part of my xBs dash, construction so far!!

sadly the old impala is under this mess, and now under water!

My family had a '59 wagon when i was growing up...I loved that car. Great idea on the pods...very creative. I may have to copy you on this one Smile

Thanks for the comments!!!
choice , i dig it
I love it...I am always impressed with custom jobs on cars. I don't have the "guts" or the know-how to pull of stuff like this.
i didnt have the guts or know-how, but i jumped off the ledge and tried to see what i can do, live and learn, screw somthing up, and hope i can afford to fix it, lol.

Exactly!
I was the same way but wanted to build a system for my wife's car. Here's what I ended up with....

6x9's get mounted on this side...

I noticed you're using bondo resin. You need to get over to http://www.uscomposites.com/ and check out the supplies. Usually the lowest prices of ANYONE. And the resin I get from them is great to work with, much better and cheaper than Bondo
