Have you guys heard about the issue with the Prius?
Seems as though the insurance costs are higher for a Prius than for a normal sub compact car like an Elantra.
A friend of mine has one and center screen for all the controls quit working. The car was out of warranty and I think she was quoted $4000 to replace it.
i wonder why it would be more to insure.
its not a higher liability like a vett or an evo, and it not very work capable like a F350 quad cab long bed.
i wouldn't think its that much more to fix then any other car after a crash.
well i will say i know the windshield is like $1200.
you know the dimond fusion was something i skipped at the dealer when i had gotten my xB, i wish i haddent. my FJ........... i said "DO IT". the FJ windshield is like $700 and its got almost as bad of a problem as the xB is known to have.
Well, compact cars are made to crumble on impact to absorb the blow. With the front end being so short, and a specialized motor, it seems as it is more expensive than something like an F150.
