Hey guys sorry i being away and now i have a question.. here in Virginia the Cold wheather is here again and when i go to work in the morning my window (rear) is cover with a tiny ice all over and when i put the defrost it doesnt do anything .. any advice guys? maybe a fuse not working ? Crying Angry
i wouldn't think the rear defrost would be on a fuse by itself, but i could be wrong.
is everything elst working?
yeah everything else is working fine i just dont know where the fuse is to check and make sure is working
It's either a fuse or the connector came loose.
The fuse would be next to your feet.
i already check the connectors i think is the fuse ..
have you had tint removed or replaced back there?
There are 3 fuses and a relay that control the defogger. The 7.5amp fuse is probably located in the dash, the other 2 will probably be in the engine compartment. You need to get a test light and check that there is power at the switch & relay.

I didnt know that was two at front of it i check the one in the dash wich was fine but i will give a try the ones at the front .. Thank you.. ohh by the way no i didnt change or remove the tint everything still factory.
Let me give you a little more clarification since I have some time here.

The relay has 2 circuits to it. One is the coil, which will close the contact points to the power circuit.
The power circuit sends voltage from the 30A fuse through the relay to the defogger strips.

You need to get a test light and check for power on the relay & switch.. That will tell you if you have a burned fuse or a bad relay/switch.
Another thing to check is that you don't have any scratches on the defogger strips.
Don't worry about the 7.5 A fuse to the ECM. Thats just to protect the ECM.

This is a fairly straight forward problem to diagnose, but if you run into problems just let us know. Smile
^ Bump for the nice diagrams.
Thanks DavidSmile
