EZ Baked made me some new top mounting plates for my new style Easy Street struts.
these new plates add about another 1 1/2 inch drop in the front.
I am reusing the bolts that Easy Street sent with the struts. Larger holes can be cut if need be.
when I get them, and put them on, I will do a DIY for everyone with them as well.

Really --- Randode come's up with this "fix" which everyone was interested including gothbox and he in turns sells it as his "own cure" to a problem with the Easy Street struts!!! Hello!!!!! Give me a break!!! What did he do to "fix" the problem???? Not a thing!!!!!!
I guess if you had created something and someone else decided to "market it" as "their" own you'd be ok with it?????? Come on man!!!

if i came up with something and i got it copywrited then someone tried marketing it ,then i would shut em down.
but if i didn't protect my own product in some way, and someone took my idea........................ then what recourse would i have.

who was the first person to put 9" led strips in their OS handles? who was the first to put LEDs in the headlights? who cares, that person told someone how they did it, everyone who has done it since has basically "copied" that persons idea.
i see nothing wrong with EZ or Gothbox's use of an idea that someone else happened to come up with first. now, if they came into randodes shop, stole his blueprints, and then marketed them as thier own, well, thats wrong.
I understand the distance thing might make it hard for the two of them to get together to work on gothbox, but there should be credit where credit is do as well as letting randode know what he is doing.

Well all... I did not take Randodes idea and try to sell it. Goth wanted a set and I made them for him. He showed me a pic of what he was talking about wich I now know turns out to be one of Randodes pics. So I then take my stock strut and coppyd the top mounting plate that wich if any one can patent it would be toyota and where the rubber bushing and bearing is i cut a 1.75 hole. Nothing really differant from the stock scion setup. The only reason I can think of that easy street did not do it is thay did not want you that low. I dont see what I did wrong Im not trying to sell them I dont have them one my Site with a buy now button on them i mean comon this is retarded.

I like randode an ez-baked, so I'm not biased by any means, but when something's posted on an online forum, it's what's known as "public knowledge". You can't copyright public knowledge.

please don't take what i said as bad, i wasn't jumping on EZ in any way.
all im saying is if some has something that they came up with that they don't what others coping (and care about it this much) then they should do whatever they need to to protect themself and there product.

Randode, if you don't want "anyone" elts making this, get it protected.
thats not me being mean, that me giving honest business advice.
i also like both Randode and EZ, we wouldn't have half of the realy cool custom stuff for our cars if it wasn't for thease 2, so i don't want to see any more bad mouthing eachother.
the only people that need to talk this out is Randode and EZ and it needs to be done in PMs, not in this thread.
once again i find myself agreeing with Swartz, in this case i find it REDICULOUS that there is even an argument here. just cuz someone else did it, doesnt mean it cant be done by someone else.
