Are you dressing up for Halloween? Or are your kiddos? What are you and/or they going as?
I'm going as 26 year old mother of two with a big butt..oh, wait

Alex (our 4 year old) is going as a fireman and Noah (our 6 month old) is going as what all chunky babies go as...a pumpkin. I only bought the pumpkin costume because it had a picture of a fat baby on it and I couldn't resist.

hahaha i dunno what we are dressing up my son as we had seen some costumes at babies r us, they had a monkey and a chicken one that i liked but we will see

Luckily, my Mexican father-in-law was sitting here.

Aiden is going as a Scarecrow. we got almost everything at Salvation Army for a whopping $4.73. in fact the friggin makeup was 4.00, tell me how i got a pair of overalls, a flannel shirt, a hat, and some straw, all for $4.73 and the daggone makeup was nearly that......

.....wait am i really complaining about a costume that was less than ten bucks? nevermind....


Aiden is going as a Scarecrow.

I'm too old for this stuff, so I'll probably just do my usual for recent Halloweens: Answer the door for trick-or-treaters wearing a white glow-in-the-dark hockey mask, dark long-sleeved shirt, axe in plain sight leaning on wall next to door and my usual awkward movements... and offer them candy.

It's because they can't kill whales fast enough to keep up with demand

Here is my son Alex and me getting ready to leave. He went as what he call "The Ninja of Awesomeness" and I went as a prisoner. BTW, one size fits all does not actually mean that, lol....



Oh, and here are the 3 pumpkins that we made this year...

I forgot to figure out a costume til it was too late, went to a local bar to drink, and as soon as I walked in they threatened to pour a beer on me for no costume. Thinking as quickly as I could, I realized I was wearing an IU Hoosiers hoody, and I was on UK campus, so I said "I am wearing a costume! I'm going as the asshole that walks into a campus bar wearing rival colors!"


.....they poured the beer on me anyways, but not for no costume.
