I have a 2006 Scion xB and I recently had a short in my battery wire in the back of my radio that was connected to a ipod harmon/kardon controller screen. Every time i would hit a bump the screen would flicker. so i pulled the radio out and checked the wire, made a better connection and taped it up. ever since this has happen, my radio won't come on, my keyless remote won't work (but power locks will on doors), and dome light won't come on. I've checked the wiring again and the fuses and everything looks fine. I don't know what else to do. please help!
i would realy double check your fuses.
even pull them one by one and check them with an oms meter.
too much of this has nothing to do with eachother for it to be just one bad wire.
Yup, I vote for fuse.
(Check both dash and engine compartment!)
My first choice is the engine compartment...

Is it possible that you taped up the wrong wire? I vote fuses, but don't understand all going out at once. Check to see if power is getting to your radio and your dome light. Just touch it with a meter and see what you get. If power is there, you can rule out fuses.
