RE: speaker replacements

What an awesome idea, especially for disconnecting the cheap rear door speakers.

Q: How many Gen 1 owners does it take to screw in a light bulb?

RE: speaker replacements

I don't remember where the rear speakers on the Gen 2 but this really caught my eye and I thought it was a dandy idea.
The only problem I've run into with the Gen 1 is that hatch is too big an area to have speakers that close too. I've edeaded the whole damn thing in addition to putting edead under the hatch latch, license plate/frame/light. I've got the hatch half filled w/ pink house insulation to take up some air space but it still rattles like hell when I've got some bass going.

RE: speaker replacements

That sucks.

Hopefully someone makes an aftermarket solution for the C-pillars. I'm not interested in doing something totally custom, because that's $$$ I don't have.

RE: speaker replacements

What that guy did really couldn't have cost much at all.
