The 2nd-Gen Scion xB Wheel Fitment Thread
Good Afternoon, 2nd-Gen people:
I'm going to start putting together a wheel fitment list of what works and what doesn't work for our cars. If you have a certain wheel setup, post is here and I'll add it to the list.
2008 Scion xB Stock Specs:
16x6.5, 205/55/16 tires, 60.1mm hub bore, 5x114.3 bolt pattern, +45 offset.
To my knowledge, the '08+ xB can accommodate up to a +50 offset safely (using stock or 7" width), and can go as wide as 9.5" in the rear with a +40 offset. You can also use an 8.5" width in the front with a +42 offset and clear everything just fine. The '08 xB will also accept up to a 22" wheel (hey, it's your car). If you go below a +30 ET with an 8" width, you WILL be sticking out in the front.
Q: How many Gen 1 owners does it take to screw in a light bulb?

RE: The 2nd-Gen Scion xB Wheel Fitment Thread
I may be buying a set of 18x9 wheels they are 5x114.3 with a 38 offset. I am getting 235/35/18 tires. Do you know if these will fit Snow...or anyone else?
I am worried about the width and offset...I think I might be ok but I am not sure. Any information on this is greatly appreciated.

9" will stick out roughly 0.6" from stock and be an inch closer to your brakes and suspension components. The xB can accommodate up to a 9.5" width in the rear, and you should be okay up front.
Buy a 245/35/18 or 255/35/18 tire to keep close to your stock odometer readings.
This should fit and clear everything fine, but I wouldn't doubt it if you stuck out a bit in the front.
