The Adventures of Flowerbox and Mini Me
You heard it right, the FLOWERBOX is this months featured ride. Congratulations!
Below you will find information about our beloved member flowerbox (Profile), and her little friend, mini me.

Wow,where do I start! I guess I'll start off by saying thank you very much for nominating The FlowerBox for featured ride of January, tell you the truth this is the only award she's gotten, haha! Very Much Appreciated!!
I bought my box back in December a week before Christmas in 2006 mainly because I had a beetle that kept breaking down and I thought I could use my cousins discount; didn't get that part of the deal because she worked at the distribution center and not at the actual dealership but it's all good if it wasn't for her would of never thought of buying an XB. So after having the box for a little over a year it's been the best thing I've ever bought even though I struggle making the payments but it's totally worth it and I haven't had one single problem with it.

Image on right: this is when i had the rims, and you gotta a good view of the back
Now as for the theme I had the steering wheel cover in my blue convertible beetle and I brought it with me. I knew I wanted flowers when I was thinking about getting something but I wasn't sure what. So I went to Stripeman and he suggested the flowers on my seat covers. I had to buy seat covers for the front because they were hard to keep clean. So he took a picture of it and scanned it on the computer and printed it out on vinyl. I went back again and got the back hatch done in September of last year.

As For Future modifications, I plan on matching the outside as close to mini me as possible. Maybe even the stereo setup mini me has, the rims, the grills, but I do want to order the top grill from EZBAKED. I definitely want to get lighting one day probably one of the first mods I'll get going for aqua lighting still debating between neons and leds. I also want to get the flower background I have on ItsMyScion probably airbrushed not sure how I want to do that yet on the inside of the back hatch and the engine hood. The Only mod I have to it now is the Short Ram Injen Intake..

Speaking of mini me she's an actually remote control box that starts up the engine, turns off and on the alarm, plays mp3s and only turns right lol. The Ex had bought it off of eBay for like $150 it originally came red still in the box. He sanded it down spray painted it with the closest color to match and tinted the windows. The inside still needs to be done, however I made mini floor mats out of the seatbelt covers, blue ribbon and black material then I cut off the seat belts so I can have matching seat covers and cover up most of the red seats.
I also had Paul from Stripeman print out smaller versions of the flowers for it. I still need to get FlowerBox on the back hatch of it.

Oh I almost forgot! My latest hobby has been taking mini me out to places a regular car can't go. It helps my creative thinking to make it look as realistic as possible especially when the barbies are added in!!
I think I covered it all, haha!
I'll never own another car model!

I really like the flower design on the side of your xb. I have seen you at a couple shows down here in orlando. I like how they are chalky looking. I like how you have the "mini me", it is funny.
