Fuel Door stuck?
When I bought my 2006 xB the fuel door did not open, I can hear it releasing but it does not open unless I pop it open with my key.
Should there be a spring or something so that it pops open, or opens enough that I do not have to pop it open with my key? When I pop it open there is no rezistance when I use my key> Thanks in advance |

RE: Fuel Door stuck?
There is no spring at all so I guess I go to the dealer to order one.

RE: Fuel Door stuck?
Yeah it's a piece of bent metal but tempered so that it doesn't warp while bent! You could probably just duplicate the piece yourself!

RE: Fuel Door stuck?
06, but that piece is not a warrentty item, normal wear and tear.
It did not work when I bought it, and just did not get it back in the first 90 days. It's installed, and works. 30 second install. (07-02-2009 06:59 AM)SWARTZAUTOMAN Wrote: your box in an 06? |
