new headlights?

new headlights?
so i made a big mistake.
washing my box a few weeks ago (it was real dirty)
i sprayed some simple grean all over.
i normally do a 50/50 mix but i think i grabbed one of my bottles that wasn't and now my HLs are all spider webbed.
the cracks look deep so i don't think it can be buffed out.

i can't stand the way they look!
anyway.
ive looked all over ebay and the choices are overwelming.

stock HLs would be ok but id have to clear them and paint that back housing black.
i see some other brands are already black that would save me some work.
id like to be able to use my eyelids but its not that imprtaint.

so tell me what i should stay away from or what i can do to avoid problems.

RE: new headlights?
I haven't had any bad experiences yet so I don't know what to stay away from!

I've always liked the look of

here's a black set

If you want to keep your current ones, try http://www.asseenontvguys.com/index.asp?...ProdID=430
It's a glass repair kit. I swear by that stuff. Every time I've ever had a knick, scratch, just fill it in, let it dry then buff it out! I've even used it on a scratch on a tinted window, it filled it right in and blended the tint too so the stuff it amazing for what it is. It's almost like those paint scratch repair kits, it fills in the color.

RE: new headlights?
The only ones i'd tell you to stay away from are the projectors that have 3 leds on the bottom towards the outside..they are total s**t! I checked ebay and don't see any of those for sale, but just in case I missed any.

Also, unless you're buying projectors from Anzo, you really need to run a bead of clear sealer on the back edge of each HD. These things have a tendency to fog up and the sealer seems to help.

RE: new headlights?
They come with them and an adapter pigtail to go from your stock connector to each bulb...I think they're 9006 for the lo & 9005 for the high. Running these with silver stars really lights up the night!
