Is the new Scion xB ugly, or is it the most beautiful things on this earth?

I feel that the 2Gen's design followed the t2B's concept as closely as it were practical... the front, C-pillar and rear are almost dead-on from the concept.

I love the design of the new xB. It's much more muscular and macho than the previous generation. It's also more in tune to the wants and needs of Americans. Thanks for keeping America in mind, Scion.

im torn. i tend to follow the line of though that it should have gotten a different name. im not against the car in and of itself but in my oppinion its not a true xB. if it got a new badge i think 95% of the dislikers would feel differently. thats my .02

I like it as long as it has the 5axis kit, spoiler, drop and wheels. Would never trade my classic xB in for one.

There seems to be a pretty big schism between 1Gen and 2Gen people, in terms of preference.

I like both (I've owned both), and I prefer the 2Gen because it's just more refined. It doesn't feel like an economy car, while it's glaringly obvious that the 1Gen xB is.

It's ok, but if I wanted the look of the HHR/PT Cruiser I would of just got a Turbo PT. The Element looks more like an xB than the xB2, my .02 cents.

They are good with all of the listed mods above, but I wouldn't want it if it was stock. I would never give up the 1st gen. The 1st gen will be a collectable, not the 2nd gen.

the 1st gen xB put Scion on the map, not the tC or xA, or xB2 or xD.

i like the xb2 but i wouldn't trade in my xb1 for it

first gen love for life. i love it coz of its headroom and economy-esk. i agree on the gen 2 lookin like a pt cruiser/hhr mix. they are nice lookin, dont get me wrong, its just not a box.

I think you mean "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder." I dig the 2nd gens and love all the new accessories they have available for it. If I were to get a 2nd gen I would definitely pimp it out w/ all the Corolla Rumion aftermarket stuff.

I will not hook mine up with any Rumion accessories. I bought an xB, not a Corolla Rumion, hahaha.

I'm going to keep this car very light on the mods. Wheels, some vinyl, and I bought the performance junk (intake, exhaust and springs) with the car so I didn't have to bother with it. I'm lazy, thanks Scion!

I think the XB2 is a nice car (esp the inside), but I love my box and I agree that it should have a different name. The XB2 is no Box!
