i think that would be cool idea. you would have to extend the wheel base to do it tho. would it have enough power to be a "pickup"?

Really wouldn't be all that different from the Rabbit p/u. I used to drive one. Aside from the torque steer which was horrible, it was a lot of fun....

Peej you bring up a good point! The new Beetle will have the same chasis as the Rabbit/GTI. I do remember these now and should be a good looking ride. The next set of pics is what the next gen bettle should look like...
