If you want to see as the build goes along here is a link http://www.ez-bakedcustomz.com/theBoard/...p?f=16&t=2
Right on dude....I bookmarked that one...be keeping an eye on it. Just curious, where'd you find it and how much did it set you back?
I found mine in a pasture in Nebraska, got it for $25.

I like that too, except the back reminds me too much of a PT Cruiser.

I agree with Peej. It looks like an xb1, xb2, and a PT Loser had a 3 way and this poop shoot baby evolved.

Well, one of these days my box will need replacement and there isn't anything on the US market to replace it... I keep hoping that Toyota will bring in the current bB/Materia (either as a Scion or Toyota, don't care) just so there is something in that market niche. The xB2 definitely isn't.

Tomas, I'm one of the dreamers that hopes that Toyota will bring the bB2 as a xB3 once Nissan brings over the Cube and does well with it! Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the life cycle of the xB 3 years? If so, that would put the xB3 here as a 2011 model in early 2010...
Hey, it's easier to point the finger than admitting it...

RE: What will be your next car?
Supposed to be three years, but that is only the planned or expected cycle - the xB Classic could have held it's own (with minor improvements like side air bags, etc.) for considerably longer.
With the slow market right now, I would expect to see manufacturing cycles to be extended for anything that is still selling at a half decent rate so that manufacturers can run enough of them to recoup the cost of development, dies, and spares.
What this means is we can probably expect (IMHO) to see the xB2 to have a longer than three year run in the limelight.
Want me to be extremely happy? Have Toyota/Scion bring in a cross between the Prius chassis and the bB/Materia body.
The perfect City Car?

Good luck, if we end up bailing out GM, we may be forced to buy one of their crappy cars. GO VOLT!!! :/

Tomas you are totally correct! But I dream that Scion will have a RS xB2 that will sport a Toyota Rumion body. I would pick one up fast...

^^^The only thing is that Ford's 3.5L motor is so underpowered and would need Ford's small V8 to make the car fun to drive...

RE: What will be your next car?
It needs the 3.9 V8 from the Lincoln LS.
My Dad's Girlfriend's Daughter is buying a new car and wants an H2. She picked one out and since I'm the family mechanic, I get to go test drive it with her sometime this week. I'll let you know how much of a culture shock it is.
